Arcadia by SHAWOOD is set to arrive soon in Grand Park Village, located at the northwest corner of Sky Vista Dr. and Fox Hill Dr. This community will feature 40 single-family homes spread across 9.86 acres. SHAWOOD is a collaboration between Sekisui House, Japan’s largest homebuilder, and Woodside Homes, a subsidiary of Sekisui House. The SHAWOOD system utilizes a post-and-beam construction method to create prefabricated homes using sustainable lumber, designed to be earthquake-resistant. The components are pre-engineered, cut, and drilled in a factory near Tokyo before being shipped to the U.S. for on-site assembly.
SHAWOOD homes are characterized by wide-open living spaces, atriums, floating staircases, and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that seamlessly connect indoor and outdoor spaces. Arcadia represents a new approach to living, offering premium homes that go beyond mere housing, elegantly designed to promote well-being and a sustainable future. Mockingbird is the name of our upcoming community in Summerlin West, located just off the 215 freeway, north of Redpoint. This community will feature 71 homes, with three distinct floor plans ranging from 3,000 to 3,370 square feet on 45-foot wide homesites, offering a different product type from The Arches. The initial construction phase is expected to begin in January, with the first sales release slated for early next year and the first home completions anticipated by next summer.
